Second Doing Business Forum Advocates for a Competitive and Efficient Business Environment
A powerful call to unlock a more efficient and competitive business environment echoed at the Second Doing Business Forum, held on 6th November 2025 at the Golf Course Hotel, Kampala. Convened by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED), the forum brought together leaders from government ministries, public agencies, development partners, and private sector institutions to reflect on reforms aimed at creating a predictable and investment-friendly business climate. The event was guided by the theme: “Enhancing Public Sector Efficiency for Private Sector Competitiveness.”
