Welcoming the Tanzanian Delegation
In a significant cross-border collaboration, the Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA) recently welcomed a high-profile delegation from the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce. The visit, held from September 10-14, 2024, was aimed at exchanging insights and learning from Uganda’s successful approach to market management and government support for small-scale businesses.
The delegation’s itinerary included visits to Private Sector Foundation Uganda, KCCA, Fort Portal USSIA street market and different markets with in Kampala. These visits provided practical insights into how Ugandan businesses are leveraging government programs to enhance their operations and growth as well how Ugandan markets operate
